“BlakeTheChemist Debut #Dance Album is here! Featuring Guitar and Trumpet by Bay Area Musicians, Gaelen McKee and Owen Foltz. Started in the musical chemist’s home “lab” in 2018, this 15 track mix of eclectic House, Jazz, Disco(See “Laserlight”) and Funk vibes is full of unexpected and memorable moments, humorous musical parody and infectious earworms with nods to the many GOATS in dance, guitar and electronic music history. Dancepop lyrical highlights abound in “Get your Groove Back”, “Ungoon the Gooner”, and “Modern Alchemist”🎺. A surprising mix of both acid jazz synth & piano, flute and rock guitar solos(See “Razziant” and “Vortex”) and high energy, vocal bops, including the final song, “Break the Cycle” (picks up tempo with lyrics 1 minute into song), highlighting the breadth of this up and coming, multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, actor, music producer, who loves to perform, collaborate, and dance in the diverse musical realm of psytrance, UK garage, acid house and pop. BTC is on a West Coast tour this October.”
