California native Christopher “Blake” Costello has thoughtfully crafted a unique sound palette that meshes his synth-driven funk, jazz and house backgrounds with the intricate, fast and hypnotic realm of psy-trance. He aims to let his squelchy and neon-tinged sound design flow "both parallel and perpendicular" to his perfect pitch music theory. In 2023, he joined the music production program at Icon Collective in Los Angeles to achieve his goal of making high-quality EDM. Blake won UK Dance charting, Piri & Tommy’s “Lovergirl” REMIX contest in 2023 as Blakethechemist.
