California native Christopher “Blake” Costello (aka Blake-The-Chemist) has thoughtfully crafted a unique sound palette that meshes his synth-driven funk, jazz and house backgrounds with the intricate, fast and hypnotic realm of psy-trance. A classically trained pianist, actor, dancer, and ICON Collective Los Angeles music production grad, Blake produces high-quality, original EDM with a focus on lyrics, songwriting, flute and synth solos.

Blake won UK Dance charting, Piri & Tommy’s “Lovergirl” REMIX contest in 2023 as Blakethechemist (BTC).

In 2024, BTC released award winning, vocal and songwriting collab EP “In the End” promoted by Grammy Winning Artist, LATROIT.

In 2025, Blakethechemist hit the mark with “ENDER PEARL” an infectious and cinematic dance track based on MINECRAFT.
